Colorado Kids: Win 1 of 2 Pairs of Kids Shoes

April 15, 2016

There is not much I am anal about in my parenting, but one thing I am is the children’s footwear. I buy good quality shoes that will last and not wear out before they are outgrown. I make sure they are sized correctly and checked regularly and the kids always get new shoes – no hand me downs. As much as I love online shopping I have never purchased a pair of shoes online. How would I measure them correctly? What if they were the wrong size?

Since Colorado’s inception in 1988, the shoe brand has built an outdoor-lifestyle range which is now renowned for strength and integrity. In 2016, the iconic brand is now extending their support to little feet with a brand new kid’s category. The Colorado Kids range has all of the hallmarks we have come to know from the adults range. From the rugged, hard wearing leathers found in the boys boots to the soft suedes in the girls styles. It’s the quality you already know, wrapped up in a tiny package.

Colorado Kids product developer Emily Smart explains a bit more about the range:
“For Colorado Kids, we really focused on delivering the comfort and quality customers have come to expect from the Colorado brand. We have used durable leather materials throughout the range to ensure these shoes can withstand the wrath of a child’s playtime while offering comfortable latex cushioning underfoot to absorb impact. We really wanted Colorado Kids to be something accessible to parents so affordability was also a key outcome.”

What to expect from your new Colorado Kids shoes:

  • Leather upper (some rugged and hard, some soft… boot dependant)
  • Leather lining
  • Comfortable latex foam underfoot

Starting at $69.95, the range will be stocked in Williams and Mathers stores across the country making it available and affordable for parents who know that synthetic shoes just don’t stand the test of play time.

Colorado Kids gave us the opportunity to order a pair from their new range online. To measure your child’s shoe size, it is as easy as getting a piece of paper and tracing around their foot while holding the pencil as straight as possible and making sure it doesn’t leave the paper during the tracing process. Once finished measure with a ruler the distance between the base of the heel to the largest toe. Check your measurement against the Colorado Size Guide and you will have your shoe size, ready to order online.

Miss 9 ordered these boots and they arrived quickly. I have been buying Colorado shoes for myself for years so knew the quality would be great – the kids shoes are no exception. Hers were a fantastic fit – however if they hadn’t been exchanges and refunds are offered online with postage paid!

You can browse and shop the new Colorado Kids range online here or in-store at your local William’s and Mather’s stores. Keep up to date on the Colorado Facebook page with the latest news.
