Fridge To Go – Review + Giveaway!

March 23, 2015

ftg blue with black outline

Fridge To Go sent me one of their medium lunch bags to try this week. Miss 8 quickly claimed it as her new lunch box. We have tried lots of lunch boxes/bags over the years. Of both the girls she is the one who likes her fruit cool, and yogurt/dairy for her lunch daily. She also has the most after school activities during the week so extra snacks need to be packed.

The bag has ample room to pack a full days lunch and more. It has a removable chilling panel that you can put in the freezer already inside the bag, or on its own. The panel is concealed inside a velcro pocket to keep it secure, and ensures all food placed inside are kept evenly cooled. Once frozen, the bag will keep its contents cool for up to 8 hours – much longer than the cool bags I have used in the past.

The bags are BPA free, lead and PVC safe.  They have an easy carry handle, fold flat when not in use and are slim line. Miss 8 loved the colour, and the fact her fruit and yogurt were not warm by lunch time. I loved the size, and the easy to clean material (wipe down with a damp cloth) plus not having to worry if the dairy I packed at 730am will be too warm to eat by lunchtime.

Fridge To Go comes in a large range of sizes and products all viewable at:

The Mini Fridge 6 Bag. My husband works 12 hour shifts and often can’t get to a fridge. Much better for storing fresh food.

Reusable sandwich wraps. Cutting back on irksome, environmentally damaging plastic can only be a good thing. Teaching our next generation about being environmentally alert.

The single bottle cooler because being able to keep a bottle of bubbles chilled is quite important, really!

I’d try the sandwich pocket for an environmentally friendly lunch,
So I can stop doing the brown paper bag scrunch!

I would try the bottle cooler,
    $32.95 is not much moola,
