Kiss It Better: Smriti Prasadam-Halls Win 1 of 3 copies

February 22, 2016

With my first child every fall, cry or accident would send me running straight to him. These days and with a few more kids around I’ve relaxed a lot. If nothing is broken then “you will be fine, up and get on with it” seems to be working in our house. For the rest of the time a kiss better fixes the majority of whatever happens to be wrong at that moment. Children’s author Smriti Prassadam-Halls has has written a beautiful book about exactly that – the power of a kiss to make things better.

kiss it better

“Every day has its ups and downs
Sometimes you giggle, sometimes you frown.
But the thing to remember, the secret, is this . . .
Everything feels better with the help of a KISS.”

If you’ve scraped your knee, or fallen out with your best friend, a kiss can make everything better. And kisses aren’t just for children, they’re for grown-ups too. So the next time you see someone you love feeling down in the dumps, just remember: a kiss is the very best gift of all!
