Crayola is a favourite in our household. I enjoy watching my three year old discover arts and crafts and he loves sitting up at the table creating masterpieces and proudly displaying them all over the house. As he grows he wants his own things like his siblings, and was very excited to get a Crayola delivery this week.
My First Crayola are designed specifically for little hands. They are just what toddlers and preschoolers need to express, connect and create with colour. Your little ones independence and confidence will grow while learning through colourful play!
Floyd tested out:
My First Safety Scissors:
Enjoy “ouch free” cutting with this pack of 3 colourful Safety Scissors. Designed to only cut paper and card stock, not fingers or hair, their rounded tips with plastic blades cut in three different patterns – straight, wavy and zigzag. For ages 3+ these are RRP $5.79. His favourite thing at the moment is cutting paper. He loved these and sat snipping paper for an hour!
My First Jumbo Crayons:
Designed to introduce your child to crayons, the large size is easy to hold and hard to break. Designed to assist with motor skills, eye hand coordination and colour recognition these come in a pack of 12, RRP $9.49 and are recommended for ages 2+. Another Crayola product that withstood hard toddler usage!
My First Easy-Grip Colored Pencils:
A great start to any child looking to express their creative talents. The easy grip no-roll triangular shape promotes purposeful, controlled coloring and drawing. With thick 4mm leads for extra strength and less breakage, the pack includes 10 pencils in different colors, has a RRP $6.99 and is from ages 3+. These were easy for Floyd to draw with and didn’t break like often happens when heavy handed toddlers press down too hard.
Also in the new range: My First Mess Free Double Doodle (RRP $15.99) Both sides of the double-sided canvas include a drawing and sealed gel surface for finger painting. Designed to wipe clean easily it includes 3 washable easy grip crayons. Age 1+
My First Washable Palm Grip Markers (RRP $7.99) just the right size to fit in a toddlers palm, these markers provide the proper grip and come in animal designs to provide hours of imaginative play. Pack includes 2 markers and is designed for age 1+
Thanks to Crayola, 5 readers are going to win a Crayola Prize Pack. Each pack includes the 3 items Floyd tested out: My First Safety Scissors, My First Easy Grip Colored Pencils and My First Jumbo Crayons.
