My Studio Girl – Review + Win your own!

April 12, 2015

imageMiss Six and Miss Eight love being creative, drawing, and making things.

My Studio Girl is a range of products designed to do just that – express your creativity and have a lot of fun in the process. The range includes sewing, drawing and stencils, card making and room decor, taggles and stickers, model kits and more.

The girls tested a range of different My Studio Girl products. Each one comes with clear, easy to read instructions – a numbered and pictured step by step guide.

The sewing kits come with pre-cut pieces, pre-punched holes for easy stitching – plastic safety needles plus all the extras to make gorgeous mini pillows, dolls and sweet pets.

The greeting cards make and decorate pack includes glitter stickers, paper punch outs plus 18 cards and envelopes, all made with double-sided sticky tabs – the perfect mess free hand-made card for any occasion.

The Wind-Up Walking Toys use 3D magic dough to create a gorgeous wind up toy – which air dries with no baking required.

Miss 8’s favourites – the Deluxe Sketch Portfolio Fashion Runway – a book filled with stencil sheets, design pages and sticker sheets with patterns and accessories – ideal for bringing out the mini fashionista, along with the Taggles Stick, Stack and Re-stick Activity Album – reusable taggles that can be used time and time again to dress models and create scenes, with the option of buying more to add to your collection.

The girls gave everything a 10/10. Mum loved the hours of creative time they spent together – as well as them being able to make each one with no parental help required.

Felt cupcakes. Miss 8’s not the best cook, and this test of patience, concentration and fine motor control won’t require taste testing once it’s ‘cooked’!

I’d love their GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine toy – my daughter would love it as she’s really into crafty toys. And I really like the colouring – it’s not all frilly and princessy pink like a lot of girls’ toys are.

  • Reply Judith P. April 19, 2015 at 6:29 am

I know it’s not a very sophisticated toy but I love the Ugames Jack in the Box… it’s so hard to find decent Jack in the Boxes but theirs is cute and not at all scary (my toddler has a weird fascination with them – he finds them both fascinating and a bit frightening at the same time.
