Sebamed – Review + Giveaway

August 24, 2015

Sebamed has been featured on my blog recently with some very generous giveaways that have been really popular.I have been using products I was sent on both the children and myself for a few weeks now, and am really loving the entire range.

Sebamed is a range of skincare products developed with pharmacists and dermatologists. The products are soap and alkali free with a pH of 5.5 – the same level of healthy skin. Extensively researched and tested on problematic and sensitive skin rather than standard tests the high quality ingredients are non allergenic and suitable for the entire family. My two youngest children suffer from spot eczema, both also have dry skin that is further irritated by a lot of products on the market. Eczema and dry skin is annoying and at times painful for little ones especially. The problem areas are in the creases of their joints on their arms and legs. Winter certainly hasn’t helped with the dried out skin. I have been really impressed with the difference Sebamed has made not only on the children, but my own skin.

Baby Sebamed:

We tested out the Baby Shampoo, Baby Bubble Bath, Baby Wash and Baby Lotion. With all the products what struck me the most was the amazing scent when using them, as well as how small an amount I needed for each use. The baby crawls around the floor all day, and toddlers are messy – bath time they both look forward to. I combine the bubble bath with the baby wash to get them washed. Soft and gentle on their skin, I have really noticed a difference especially with the baby on the level of dryness she has suffered from. The baby shampoo gives a soft clean wash, and left their hair smelling fantastic. After the bath I have been rubbing the baby lotion into both their dry spots, they are loving the massage and their skin has never felt so soft.  The Baby Sebamed range can be viewed online here

When it comes to me, I don’t spend enough time on my skin routine. The Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash was a huge winner – I could use it on my whole body while showering. It leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh, and as with all the products only a small amount is needed. The Cleansing Shower Oil really leaves your skin feeling like new – you can use it as a wash in the shower, or like I did in your bath.

My favourite product for myself was the Body Milk – this is applied after your shower and left my skin feeling moisturised all day long. By far the products I was most looking forward to testing out was the Night Intensive Cream, Anti-Ageing Q10 protection and the Firming Body Lotion. I have a major milestone birthday coming up in December, and I am getting very conscious of ageing skin. The night cream had me waking up with skin that felt hydrated not dry, the firming body lotion and the anti-ageing have never seen my skin feel or look so good. These products work, and they are so reasonably priced, unlike a lot on the market.

I highly recommend Sebamed products. Not only are they good for your skin, the small amount required for each use means they are value for money. You can shop the full range of Sebamed products by visiting their website.
