Ella’s 2nd Peppa Pig Birthday Party

July 3, 2016

If you’re a regular reader of this blog you will know I love celebrating my kids birthdays, and my youngest turning two was no exception. Although I love parties I can’t put them together, and outsource the whole lot. I’ve been doing this for a long time, it started right after I attempted to bake my son a dinosaur cake and it looked more like a dead possum.

We held the party at our local community hall – I’ve done this before and love it because the mess is contained to one area. No more finding cake and lollies weeks after the birthday party.

Lisa from All in All Parties is a local mum and a regular follower of my blog. I used her a few years ago when my daughter had a circus party, and she did a spectacular job. I knew I wanted a Peppa Pig theme, and emailed Lisa who got back to me straight away. All in All Parties does the entire party from invitations to packing away at the end. The table setup was all included (including the gazebo which the kids love sitting under) there was a craft table set up (for our party it was the kids decorating their own pots and planting a seed) The kids had a rack full of dress ups they could change into and out of. All in All Parties provides a party host that stays for the duration of your party – 2 hours to set up, a 2 hour party and an hour to pack away at the end. Our host not only helped serve the kids food and drinks, she did the craft and took photos of the entire party for me – she was brilliant. Lisa services most areas in Sydney and can be contacted via her Facebook page or website. I can’t recommend her enough.

Lisa also arranged every other aspect of the party for me: the Peppa Pig cake tasted as good as it looked and was made by Sue Bakes. The amazing lolly buffet was by Cookie Queen Kitsch’n who also did the cookies which doubled up as favours the kids took home. The lolly buffet was a huge hit with the kids – they didn’t stop sticking their hands in the jars and loved helping themselves. At the end they filled up their lolly bags to take home. The balloons were by Floating Designs, and the kids loved them.

For the entertainment we used Fly By Fun. I have used them before for the kids parties and their entertainers are fantastic. We had Peppa Pig for half an hour, then a fairy who entertained the kids playing games, dancing, handing out prizes and keeping them busy for an hour and a half. The party went for two hours in total which is long enough for any childs party no matter how old they are! So did Miss 2 have fun? I think the pictures answer that.

Note: this party was paid for in full. There was no freebies, no discounts to write anything nice. If something is good I say so, if not I say so louder.
